After receiving more than a dozen complaints against my license for exposing specific danger to public health and safety, I was ordered to complete a formal Ethics Evaluation and I was victorious. Q: Do I need to be a nurse to take this course?
No, you don’t need to be a nurse to take this course. While the content is designed with nurses in mind, it’s open to anyone who wants to better understand the ethical standards nurses are held to. Whether you're a patient, a family member advocating for a loved one, or simply someone interested in learning more about healthcare ethics, this course will provide valuable insights. You'll gain a deeper understanding of what nurses go through, how they make ethical decisions, and how you can advocate for yourself or your loved ones when navigating the healthcare system.
Q: How will I receive my CEUs?
Upon successful completion of the course, including participation in all activities and quizzes, you will be awarded a 10-hour CEU certificate.
Q: Will my employer reimburse me?
Many employers offer "Outside Education" benefits up to $1400! This is an approved CEU provider course and qualifies for reimbursement.
Q. What if I miss a class?
For live, interactive course, attendance for each session is highly encouraged to get the full experience, engage with the material, and participate in discussions. Q. Are recordings available?
No, recordings are not available for this live course. This course is the first-ever offering and due to the sensitive nature of this topic I want to create a safe place to share experiences and insights. That is why I am offering Live Sessions, Every Week for 6 Weeks beginning: March 9, 2025 with two sessions offered EVERY week for makeup sessions or reinforcement of topic on Sundays from 4:30-6PM EST & Tuesdays from 7-8:30PM EST.
If you're unable to attend a session live, please reach out to me beforehand, and I’ll do my best to provide resources or alternative ways to stay engaged with the course material.
UPDATE: My presentations will be recorded. However, the students will decide if the Q&A portion will be or not.
